My maternal grandmother’s family started in America when an indentured servant, Peter Parsons of Virginia moved to MS with
an enslaved woman, nameless from my knowledge. Along the journey a son was born. This is around 1820’s. The Parsons family
settled in an area about 40 miles from Hannibal, MO.
