WE'VE TALKED IN MANY OF YOUR HUMANITARIAN INTERVENTIONS WHICH, OBVIOUSLY, STARTED IN PUERTO RICO IN A BIG WAY WITH MAINE MARIA.
WE TALKED TO THE POLISH PRIME MINISTER.
YOU STARTED THERE AT THE BORDER?
WE THINK 12 HOURS WE WERE IN AMERICA.
WE BEGAN USE FEEDING THE WOMAN, THE CHILDREN, HOT SOUPS, NIGHTS THAT WERE SUPER COLD IN THE MOMENT THAT NOBODY KNOW WHAT WAS HAPPENING.
AND FROM THERE WE WENT ALMOST IN EVERY SINGLE BORDER INSIDE POLAND.
WITHIN THREE DAYS WE WERE IN EVERY OTHER COUNTRY WELCOMING UKRAINE REFUGEES.
SINCE THEN 24/7 FEEDING IN EVERY SINGLE BORDERER POINT.
NOT ONLY IN THE WELCOME COUNTRIES BUT ALSO INSIDE IN UKRAINE SIDE BECAUSE WE HAD FOUR AND FIVE DAYS THAT PEOPLE WERE WAITING TO TRY TO CROSS.
BEFORE THAT WE WERE INSIDE UKRAINE, SIX DAYS WE WERE IN THERE, IN 21 CITIES INSIDE UKRAINE DOING 300,000 MEALS A DAY.
WE ARE ALMOST OVER 6 MILLION MEALS SO FAR.
IN UKRAINE?
THE OPERATION, THE MEALS --
THAT'S HUGE.
AND WE MAY TALK ABOUT IT AND YOU ARE KNOWN FOR IT AND YOU TWEET ABOUT IT AND IT'S GREAT.
BUT HOW DO YOU ACHIEVE THESE LOGISTICS IN A WAR ZONE?
HOW DO YOU DO IT?
IT'S NOT SO COMPLICATED.
I AM A COOK I HAVE RESTAURANTS.
I SAY THAT IT'S THE BIGGEST ORGANIZATION IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND AND THAT MAY SOUND NUTTY, BUT THINK ABOUT IT.
MILLIONS OF RESTAURANTS IN THE WORLD.
MILLIONS WORK IN THE FOOD BUSINESSES.
WAREHOUSES THAT WITH CHICKEN AND VEGETABLES.
IN MY MIND THEY ARE TART OF CENTRAL KITSCH RN.
WE HAVE HUNDREDS OF RESTAURANTS, THOUSANDS OF FOOD PEOPLE JOINING FORCES.
WE ARE THE FOOD FIGHTERS ALL WITH WORLD CENTRAL KITCHEN HERE TO SUPPORT THEM.
