A panel discussion followed the screening of highlights from August Wilson: The Ground on Which I Stand at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture in New York City on February 9, 2015. The panel was moderated by the film’s producer and director, Sam Pollard. Panelists include Phylicia Rashad, actor/director; Ruben Santiago-Hudson, actor/director; Constanza Romero, Wilson’s widow and costume designer; and Rich Blint, Ph.D., Associate Director, Columbia University School of the Arts Office of Community Outreach and Education. The event was co-presented by THIRTEEN and the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture.
