A New Look for American Masters

SHARE

As American Masters celebrates its 30th anniversary year, we are unveiling a new redesign – featuring a new “clapperboard” logo, a revamped website, a quicker on-air introduction with a new musical theme, and branding across all our social media outlets.

If you saw Norman Lear: Just Another Version of You in theaters, you may have caught the first glimpse of American Masters Pictures – the new theatrical banner created by Executive Producer Michael Kantor, which will bring our logo to the “feature docs” in our series that will have limited theatrical runs.  Films in theaters this fall include By Sidney Lumet directed by Nancy Buirski and Maya Angelou: And Still I Rise co-directed by Rita Coburn-Whack and Bob Hercules. Next year’s slate will feature a number of films including Sammy Davis, Jr.: I’ve Gotta Be Me directed by Sam Pollard.

In addition to highlighting new offerings from our Digital Archive and Podcast, our newsletter will keep you up to date on the website’s showcase of new outtakes, interviews, events, screenings and festivals featuring American Masters films playing the country.
