American Masters — Norman Lear: Just Another Version of You, the first documentary about 94-year-old television legend Norman Lear, premieres nationwide Tuesday, October 25 at 9 p.m. on PBS (check local listings).

To some, the name Norman Lear might be unfamiliar. But his characters – those larger-than-life personalities that lit up TV screens every night for decades – those folks are unforgettable.
