(You Make Me Feel Like A) Natural Woman – Acoustic Live

SHARE

Carole King sings “(You Make Me Feel Like A) Natural Woman” at the piano, in never-before-seen footage from 1982. The intimate solo recording for the camera took place in Austin, TX, for Carol King: One to One, by Scott Garen. Written by Carole King, with lyrics by her then-husband Gerry Goffin, the song was a 1967 single released by soul singer Aretha Franklin.

Carole King recorded “(You Make Me Feel Like A) Natural Woman” herself for her Grammy-winning album Tapestry (1971).

Franklin wowed both King and audiences when she performed “Natural Woman” at the Kennedy Center for Carole King’s Kennedy Center Honors in December 2015.
