Something To Dance About’s Peabody Win

Peabody AwardAMERICAN MASTERS Jerome Robbins: Something to Dance About (premiere broadcast January 2009) has just been honored with a prestigious Peabody Award. The George Foster Peabody Awards, established in 1941 and administered by the University of Georgia, are annual, international awards for excellence, distinction and achievement in broadcast journalism – considered by many the most competitive and coveted honor in radio and television. This represents the 10th such win in the history of the AMERICAN MASTERS series and, this year, is one of five wins for public television.
