She describes “The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson” as a premiere destination for the intellectual comic, followed by mainstream acceptance through appearances on “The Ed Sullivan Show”. In this interview outtake, Rivers speaks candidly in describing both of these storied venues as instrumental to her own success.
