Tyrus Wong’s atmospheric artwork gave “Bambi” its unique style

Celebrate the 75th anniversary of Disney’s Bambi and learn more about the artist, Tyrus Wong, whose unique approach gave Bambi its impressionistic style. Wong spent years honing a soft, atmospheric painting style that relied heavily on lighting and creative use of color, and his work inspired the entire Bambi team to create a groundbreaking film.
