Kait Hoehne

Brooklyn, NY

My grandma, Florence, grew up in Milwaukee where she worked to raise two kids. She lived to be 94 years old, and her unconditional love, open heart and strong moral compass helped make me the woman I am today. Grandma Goetz taught me to love openly, without discrimination or judgement. She taught me to walk through life with hope and optimism, putting aside fear or self-pity. I miss her every day.
