In June 2012 my mom and I moved to California in hopes of a new beginning in the midst of a pending divorce. For a period of time we lived in a hotel as we held on in hopes of securing a place to stay; at the same time relying on the fact that I at least would be promised housing on the college campus, for the upcoming school year. The short portion of the story is that with the support of my 80 year old grandma from Mississippi, and of course my mom (and brother), four years later I am the recipient of a senior college degree. We still live in California. My brother has opened an Audio Engineering Studio, I am a working professional dancer and choreographer, and my mom is employed at Costco as a day job, and a writer as her real job. Our stance is steadied on the shoulders of my sassy 80 year old Mississippi Grandmother whom you absolutely need to meet, as she fully Believes NOTHING Is IMPOSSIBLE WITH CHRIST.
