The Role of Private Capital in Public Infrastructure Projects

The United States has had increasing difficulty maintaining its existing infrastructure and building new projects. A recent program held by the Manhattan Institute explores the possible roles of private sector finance and management, whether as a complement or as a substitute for traditional government ownership and operation, in building and maintaining infrastructure.

Foote, Senior Fellow, Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government and John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, and; E.S. Savas, presidential professor at Baruch College. This program was moderated by Howard Husock, Vice President for Policy Research at the Manhattan Institute.
