Cecil Yang

The song used in this film is “Come Out” by Cub Sport. I discovered this band in my freshman year of high school and have since cultivated a special relationship with the band. Their story is one of true love that struggled against homophobia, and I was inspired by them to create this film. It’s true, gay people love aliens, and that’s because aliens represent a different society from our own, possibly a more accepting one. Aliens in this film represent an escape from homophobia and hatred in the arms of a loved one.
