TRANSCRIPT

-[DAVID WISNIA:] Music was my life, right from the beginning.

I always sang.

When I got into the camp, that's what saved my life.

Most of the people who came in to Auschwitz did not last more than about a month.

Everybody: "Hey, Wisnia, get down.

Sing!"

[singing in German] -[AVI WISNIA:] We always knew that he survived by singing.

But he could not have done it alone.
