In Memoriam: Angela Lansbury

GREAT PERFORMANCES mourns the passing of Angela Lansbury, the beloved star of stage and screen who was most memorably featured on GP in 1985 with her signature role of “Mrs. Lovett” in Stephen Sondheim’s “Sweeney Todd.”  In 2015, Lansbury also co-starred on GP with James Earl Jones in the title role of “Driving Miss Daisy,” and was featured in the documentaries “Elizabeth Taylor: England’s Other Elizabeth” in 2001 and “Harold Prince: The Director’s Life” in 2018.
