Great Performances – Chita Rivera
GREAT PERFORMANCES mourns the passing of two-time Tony Award-winner Chita Rivera, one of Broadway’s all-time great triple threats in dance, music and drama. In 2015, the story of her legendary career was celebrated in GP’s “Chita Rivera: A lot of Livin’ to Do.” Other GP appearances included “Celebrating Gershwin: S’Wonderful,” “Broadway Sings: The Music of Jule Styne” and “My Favorite Broadway: The Love Songs.” In 2023, Rivera joined the cast of GP’s anniversary special “Celebrating 50 Years of Broadway’s Best” to sing her signature song “All That Jazz” from “Chicago.”
