Tenor Jonas Kaufmann and soprano Kristine Opolais join Andris Nelsons at his inaugural concert as as Boston Symphony Orchestra Music Director to perform “O Soave Fanciulla,” the Act I Finale from Puccini’s opera La Bohème. Andris Nelsons was born in 1978 in Riga, Latvia into a family of musicians. He began his career as a trumpeter in the Latvian National Opera Orchestra before studying conducting.
