Eliza and Alexander essentially met during a war. Hamilton was camped a couple miles away from the house that Eliza was staying in. This is the house where Elizabeth Schulyer came to visit with her uncle and aunt. Her aunt realized that you know it's hard to find a boy during war time they've all gone to the front. Go visit auntie and meet some men. And she met the guy who was staying next door Alexander Hamilton.
