New York City Ballet in Paris, an all-Balanchine performance, culminates with Ravel’s La Valse. New York City Ballet in Paris is the part one of a two-part special featuring four ballets by NYCB co-founder George Balanchine set to the music of French composers. Part one airs on Friday, February 17 at 9PM on PBS (check local listings). Both programs are hosted by NYCB Ballet Master in Chief Peter Martins.
