Ships and sailing yachts are coming in and out of the bay\u2026 and it\u2019s almost the middle of January! Where does time go?  On Tuesday Michael Powell, the Trust's conservation carpenter, arrived on expedition ship National Geographic Explorer. He travelled from New Zealand to Argentina via Chile- a very long journey to reach the other side of the southern hemisphere. He was very fortunate to travel to Detaille Island, about 140km south of Port Lockroy, with the ship and was able to show Detaille Hut to the passengers."}
