Indiana Court Upholds Broadest School Voucher Program

Opponents argued the program violates the separation of church and state since funds can be used at religious schools. But the justices said vouchers directly benefit students, not the religious institutions. In 2002, the U.S. Supreme Court upheld a school voucher program in Ohio.
