Gallup Poll Finds Most, Least Religious Cities in the U.S.

gallup-pollIn a study of 189 U.S. metropolitan areas, the Gallup poll has identified the most and the least religious places in the country. The Provo-Orem area in Utah had the highest number of people who said they are very religious—77 percent. The lowest number was in Burlington and South Burlington Vermont, with just 17 percent. Nationwide, 40 percent of Americans said they are very religious.
