UN: Total Number of Syrian Refugees Could Rise to 3.5 Million

syrian-refugeesThe war in Syria was the major topic of conversation this week as President Obama met with the Turkish prime minister in Washington. Turkey has taken in more than 400,000 Syrian refugees since the conflict began. The United Nations said if current rates continue, the total number of people fleeing the Syrian violence could reach 3.5 million by the end of the year.
