Buddhists in Myanmar Burn Muslim Homes

There was renewed sectarian violence in Myanmar, the former Burma. A Buddhist mob destroyed several Muslim homes and shops in the latest wave of attacks on the country’s Muslim minority. In the past year, more than 250 people have been killed and 140,000 displaced. The US Commission on International Religious Freedom called the situation in Myanmar “a profound humanitarian and political crisis.”
