Ukrainian Catholics in Crimea Accuse Pro-Russians of Persecution

As tensions mounted, Ukrainian Catholic officials accused pro-Russian forces of persecuting Catholic clergy in Crimea. This week the Ukrainian Catholic archbishop met with Pope Francis at the Vatican to discuss the church’s welfare. Francis assured him of his support.
