Religious Groups Join in Working to Sign People Up for Health Care

church-health-HEAD-sm President Obama this week hailed the successful sign-up process of the Affordable Care Act. He said the law affirms “the dignity and worth” of millions of Americans. Faith leaders were among those at the White House when the president announced that the plan’s original goal of seven million enrollments had been exceeded. Many religious groups had actively worked to get people signed up before the March 31 deadline.
