American Bible Society Surveys Bible Lovers and Skeptics

american-bible-society-HEAD-smA new survey from the American Bible Society shows that skepticism toward the Bible is on the rise in the US. According to the annual study, the most devoted readers of the Bible are now matched in number by those who doubt the Bible is of divine origin: 19 percent for both. Skeptics have grown by 10 percent since 2011, while the number of committed readers has stayed the same. The growth of skeptics is strong among millennials, those between 18 and 29.
