Violence Escalates in Iraq

Christians were among the estimated 500,000 people who fled the country’s second-largest city, Mosul, after it was seized by Sunni Islamist militants. The U.N. condemned the attacks and said the humanitarian situation in Mosul was worsening by the moment.
