Former Vatican Ambassador Defrocked for Sex Abuse

DR-sx-abuse-NEWS-smA former Vatican ambassador to the Dominican Republic is facing possible extradition by several countries after being accused of sex crimes against children. Earlier this year Jozef Wesolowski was found guilty and defrocked by a Vatican court for sexually abusing young boys while in the Dominican Republic. He has yet to be charged in the Dominican Republic, however. This week the Vatican said that Wesolowski has lost his diplomatic immunity status and could be extradited.
