Pope, UN Ambassador Urge More International Action to Defeat Ebola

1809-ebola-NEWs-smThis week at the Vatican, Pope Francis again urged prayers for Ebola victims and called on the international community to do everything possible to eradicate the virus. The World Health Organization said the rate of new cases may be slowing in Liberia, the worst hit country, but that the fight was far from over. During a visit to West Africa, US Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power said a much greater international response is needed to defeat Ebola.
