Amid protests in Ferguson, Missouri, local clergy and leaders from the National Council of Churches prayed for justice and peace in response to the shooting death of Michael Brown. They met ahead of a grand jury’s decision on whether to indict Darren Wilson, the white police officer who shot Brown, an unarmed black teenager.
