UN and WCC: More Cooperation Needed to Fight Ebola

081414_ebola-NEWS-smThe United Nations and the World Council of Churches joined together this week (December 2) urging more cooperation between the international community and faith leaders in fighting Ebola, especially in West Africa. Meanwhile, the World Health Organization said the number of infections worldwide has surpassed 17,000, most of them in Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone. The humanitarian group Doctors Without Borders said the international response has been too slow and called for more aid to the region.
