Anglican and Catholic Churches in Pakistan Attacked by Suicide Bombings

In Pakistan, protesters demanded protection for Christians in the wake of the suicide bombings of two churches in Lahore that left 17 dead and injured more than 70 others. The Pakistani Taliban claimed responsibility for the coordinated attacks at an Anglican and a Catholic church in a predominantly Christian neighborhood. At the Vatican, Pope Francis denounced the bombings as part of a global wave of anti-Christian violence.
