Study: Number of Muslims Will Nearly Equal Number of Christians around the World by 2050

Islam is growing fast, and a new study from the Pew-Templeton Global Religious Futures project says if the trend continues, Muslims will surpass Christians in this century as the world’s largest faith group. The report predicts that the Muslim population will nearly equal the worldwide number of Christians by 2050, eventually overtaking them by 2070.
