A movie about faith called “The War Room” is making a splash at the box office. The film focuses on an African-American couple and their attempt to overcome marriage troubles with prayer. It was produced on a low budget by Hollywood standards, but it has become a sleeper hit thanks to a grassroots campaign aimed at high-profile pastors and churches. It made $11.4 million in its opening week, four times the production costs.
