South Carolina Flooding: Faith-Based Relief Groups Respond

Faith-based groups are among those mobilizing to assist victims of the catastrophic flooding in South Carolina. Disaster relief teams are on site, assessing the damage as floodwaters recede. Several religious groups are seeking donations for recovery efforts. There are also requests for chainsaws and tools to remove mud and debris. Several organizations have begun delivering food and supplies. Volunteers are already helping people repair their homes.
