UN Secretary General: Europe’s Migrant Crisis Is “Global Responsibility”

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon this week said the resettlement of migrants flooding into Europe is a “global responsibility.” He said every country needs to help. Meanwhile, several prominent European politicians specifically called on the US and Arab states to take in more refugees. The European Union’s border control agency says more than 700,000 migrants have entered EU countries so far this year, more than twice as many as the total in 2014.
