Reform Judaism Adopts Transgender Rights Policy

On Thursday (November 5), the Union for Reform Judaism, the largest Jewish denomination in the US, passed a resolution in support of the transgender community. It calls on local congregations to have gender-neutral bathrooms and encourages the use of gender-neutral language. The measure goes further than the position of any other religious denomination in advocating for transgender rights.
