Pope Francis said inaction on climate change has brought the world to the brink of global suicide. Francis made the remark on his way back to Rome after his six-day trip to Africa, where he visited Kenya, Uganda, and the Central African Republic. The pope’s visit to the Central African Republic included a stop at a mosque in a volatile neighborhood of Bangui. The pope said the nation must break free from the violence between Christians and Muslims that has continued for nearly two years.
