On this coming Wednesday (December 9), the US Supreme Court will once again take up the controversial issue of affirmative action in university admissions policies. The justices have ruled narrowly on the issue before, but many experts believe this case involving the University of Texas at Austin could be an opportunity for the Court to issue a broad ruling on affirmative action.
