The professor at an evangelical Christian college who created controversy by wearing a hijab announced she is leaving the school. The professor had also noted on social media that Muslims and Christians worship the same God. Larycia Hawkins has been a tenured political science professor at Wheaton College. The school had initially moved to fire Hawkins but later announced it would drop the termination proceedings.
