Interfaith Groups: “No Faith Is Our Enemy”

02-600There was more religion-related controversy on the campaign trail this week. Interfaith and Muslim groups are criticizing Republican frontrunner Donald Trump for remarks in his foreign policy speech about immigrants and refugees.

Donald Trump: “We must stop importing extremism through senseless immigration policies. We have no idea where these people are coming from.”

In response, the Interfaith Alliance issued a statement asserting, “We must remain vigilant in our message that no faith is our enemy, and our nation is open to all.”
