Syrian Airstrikes Destroy Doctors Without Borders Hospital in Aleppo

06-600The tentative ceasefire in Syria has all but fallen apart. Weeks of increasing violence culminated with airstrikes and the destruction of a hospital in Aleppo affiliated with the medical charity Doctors Without Borders, killing dozens of people. Among the dead were three children and six staff members, including the area’s last remaining pediatrician. Meanwhile, Doctors Without Borders has relaunched rescue operations in the Mediterranean Sea after it accused Europe of failing to save migrants who are in danger.
