President Obama will host a summit about the worldwide refugee crisis during the United Nations General Assembly in September (September 20). The White House said the summit will address how the international community can better protect and assist refugees. The world leaders will discuss ways to increase funding for humanitarian support and to double the number of refugees to be resettled in other countries.
