Trump Plans Meeting with Evangelical Leaders

12-600With Hillary Clinton now the presumptive Democratic nominee, both parties are ramping up efforts to unify their members. On the Republican side, Donald Trump continues trying to persuade evangelical voters to support him. Evangelicals are a key part of the GOP coalition, but many have questions about Trump. This week, prominent Southern Baptist leader Russell Moore called him “a lost soul.” Trump has planned a major meeting with hundreds of evangelical leaders for June 21.
