Migrant Children and Abuse in Greece

03-600Nearly 96,000 unaccompanied refugee and migrant children traveled to Europe in 2015 to seek asylum in the European Union. Now, many of the children living in migrant camps on the Greek island of Lesbos say they feel like prisoners and are being mistreated, according to a new report by the nonprofit group Save the Children. The report also noted that more than a 100 unaccompanied children are being held in detention centers or are in police custody in Greece. Many are calling for European leaders to do more for the children.
