Nigeria: Boko Haram Releases 21 Girls to Government

02-600The Nigerian government announced that it had negotiated the release of 21 girls kidnapped by the Islamist militant group Boko Haram. They were among the nearly 300 girls kidnapped from a school in northeastern Nigeria two-and-a-half years ago. A government spokesman said that negotiations would continue in the hope of rescuing even more girls.
