The exuberant Jewish holiday of Simchat Torah will be celebrated next week (October 24-25). Jews honor the gift of the five books of Moses, the Torah itself, and also the end of the year’s cycle of Torah reading and the start of the new one. It’s traditionally celebrated by dancing with a Torah.
