John Carr, Georgetown University Catholic Social Thought Initiative: “Let’s remember that tonight there is a dreamer who wonders whether she’ll be in school a year from now; there’s an expectant mother who wonders whether she’ll have health care for her and her baby; yes, there are workers in the Rustbelt who wonder whether their voices will be heard; and there are Muslims…who wonder if America is still their home.”
