The prominent scholar of the world’s religions Huston Smith died last week (December 30) at 97. Smith became widely known for the “Wisdom of Faith,” his PBS series in the 1990s with Bill Moyers. Smith once said, “If we are to be true to our own faith, we must attend to others as alertly as we hope they will attend to us.”
